Nong Yousui - A Chinese boy who can see even in black darkness

This is an amazing story of a young Chinese boy born with blue eyes and has stunning ability to see even in pitch black darkness.   I was just going through some interesting news across the local news papers and found a news about this Chinese Boy - Nang Yousui.

Nang Yousui is from Dahua, China has eyes which reflect neon green when light is shined on his eyes.  The doctors studies about Nang Yousui's amazing eye sight when his father took him to a hospital concerned over his bright blue eyes.

Nang Yousui enjoys playing with his friends in the ground but he experiences discomfort during day light when there is bright sun light.  But he can see completely when it is completely darn at night.  In order to test his ability to see in darkness, one Journalist prepared some questions and was asked to write  the answers by sitting in a complete dark room.  The boy was able to write the answers.  This indicates that Nang Yousui can read and write in complete darkness without any light.

According to the World Record Academy which is a leading international organization which certify world records, Nang Yousui is the first human being who can see in the darkness.

Terrifying pre historic creatures that were not dinosaurs

Most of us know only about Dinosaurs which are very giant animals in the olden days.  Dinosaurs were the undisputed rulers of earth for 135 million years.  They would still have been the rulers even today if they were not wiped out by a cataclysmic event 65 million years ago.  Our planet has been around for a period for a longer than that time.  Thinking that Dinosaurs are the only scary animals of the past is completely wrong.

Pre history had no shortage of terrifying monsters with everything from the more well-known Raptors to super cats and three-eyed shrimp.  Our earth was full of scary monsters before dinosaurs came along.  One example is the Gorgonops which is an animal that lived 260 million years ago, way before dinosaurs became the dominant predators.  Gorgonops were of 6 to 10 feet in length and it was a fast and vicious predator.  Gorgonops had massive canines that almost protruded beyond its lower jaw.  Here is a list of terrifying monsters of the past.

Terror Bird :

Most of the flightless birds of today like ostrich or penguinare harmless to humans.  But there were once flightless birds which terrorized the earth.   "Phorusrhacidae" which are also known as terror birds which were the largest species of predators in South America around 62 million years ago.  The Terror Birds were nearly 3 to 10 feet tall.  The prey of these terror birds was small mammals  .. and incidentally horses.  These birds used their massive beaks to kill in two ways - by picking up small prey and slamming it to the ground or by precision strikes on critical body parts.

Even though archeologists do not have any reason why this species went extinct, the last of its fossils appeared around the same time as the first humans.

Titanoboa is almost twice as long as the modern giant snake Anaconda.  The anaconda is around 22 feet long and weighs 500 pounds.  The snake had a diameter of 3 feet at its thickest.

NASA's video shows a human figure walking on the surface of the moon on 5th August, 2014

A YouTube video which has now gone viral on the internet,  claims to show what looks like a humanoid figure walking on the surface of the Moon.  The image seems like an alien and its shadow according to the user who has put up the video.  The video from a user named Wowforreel and has been seen over two million times in less than a month. The images used to create the lunar images for Google's moon series come from NASA.

See the NASA image at the right side carefully.  You may agree to see that it looks like a humanoid figure walking on the surface of the moon.  NASA is yet to confirm about what this image is all about  but for YouTube users the image is an alien and its shadow on moon.  The image is a part of YouTube video which is now on the internet.

It should be noted that Wowforreeel's YouTube channel is full of mysterious phenomena. The owner of the video started investigating the shadow after receiving an online tip from another web user, Australia's 9News reported.  The video was created using Google Earth images. Previously wowforreel had claimed to discover an alien spacecraft or lunar ship on the moon.

World's first bionic human walks, talks and breathes

He walks, he talks and he has a beating heart, but he's not human — he's the world's first fully bionic man.

Scientists have developed the world's first robot human made up of entirely artificial parts and he can talk, walk and also has a beating heart.  The robot costed about 1 million US dollars was assembled from prosthetic body parts and artificial organs donated by laboratories around the world,   Roboticists Rich Walker and Matthew Godden of Shadow Robot Co in England put together the bionic man.

"You put a prosthetic part on a human who is missing that part. We had no human; we built a human for the prosthetic parts to occupy," Walker said. 

The robot was modelled in some physical aspects after Bertolt Meyer, a social psychologist at the University of Zurich, in Switzerland, who wears one of the world's most advanced bionic hands.

The bionic man has nearly complete set of artificial organs including artificial heart, blood, lungs ( and wind pipe), pancreas, spleen, kidney and also functional circulatory system.  However, he lacks a few major organs, including a liver, stomach and intestines, which are too complex to replicate in a lab.

The bionic man's brain can mimic certain functions of human brain.  He has speech recognition and speech production systems.  The engineers have equipped the bionic man with a sophisticated chat bot program which can carry on a conversation.  The only problem is that it has the voice of a 13 year old boy.

The bionic man simulates about two-thirds of the human body but he lacks few major organs like liver, stomach and intestines which are very difficult to replicate in a lab.


The bionic man made his U.S. debut at New York Comic Con Oct. 10-13, and he will be on display at Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. this fall.

Robot commits suicide - fed up with tedious work

This is the world's first case of a 'Robot suicide'.  A house robot fed up with its tedious job of cleaning works in the house ended its life by climbing onto a kitchen hotplate and destroyed itself in the flames.

The robot was used for cleaning up some split cereal when it has climbed onto a kitchen hotplate and destroyed itself.  The robot was tired of being forced to clean the same house every day, according to reports in Austria.


"It seems to have reactivated itself and made its way along the work surface where it pushed a cooking pot out of the way and that was the end of it", explained a fireman who was called to tackle the blaze at Hinterstoder in Austria.   The robot quickly started to melt underneath and then stuck to the kitchen hotplate and then caught fire.  By the time the fireman has come, there was a pile of ash.

The entire building was to be evacuated as there was severe smoke in the flat where the robot was being used.  It is a mystery how the robot came to be activated and ended up its life on the hot plate.  This is because the house owner says that the robot was switched off.
