India is celebrating another year of Independence today.  India has achieved Independence from the British on 15th August,1947.  Indian Independence Day is a national festival all over India and it is celebrated with great enthusiasm. 

The Independence Day of India the most important day of Indian history.  Independence Day is celebrated on August 15 to commemorate India's independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on that day in 1947. This is the 63rd Independence Day of India.  

India's Independence Day is the time to remember the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country's Independence.  Let us pay homage to all those great souls who laid their lives for the country.
